Prompted by a proposal to put the Foxwoods casino at the Gallery the planning commission engaged. The New York firm met over several weeks beginning in January with stakeholders in the area. That included property owners community groups such as those from Chinatown ld City and Callowhill and city agencies to get input and opinions on what’s working what’s wrong and in what direction the area should go. From that EE&K whittled it down into snippets that will lead to some design ideas to help re-define that area said Alan Greenberger executive director of the Philadelphia Planning Commission.

The Web site is a kick-off for the actual gallery which is slated to open in June Sullivan said. “The Web site is laid out and the design has been approved” said Dana Dodge economic development assistant and Web master for Cedar City.
